As a career professional who is constantly aware of the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, Herman Allen Autry has always handled professional responsibilities in accordance to the specific social impacts that they create. As the Social Performance Manager at BG Trinidad and Tobago from May 2010 to December 2010, Herman Allen Autry's major responsibilities included: providing input into the review and setting of BGT&T;'s social performance targets and objectives as well as into the design and implementation of social investment projects; providing advice to project and operation teams on social impact issues and implementing mitigation measures relating to BGT&T; projects; negotiating with relevant external and internal stakeholders; supervision of external consultants in the delivery of BGT&T;'s baseline studies and social impact assessments; and liaising with relevant communities impacted by BGT&T;'s operations to establish networks and identify key community stakeholders. The exemplary performance of these major responsibilities has enabled Herman to effectively act as a bridge between BGT&T; and the community in which the company is established. Being assigned as the Manager for Corporate Responsibility at BG Americas & Global LNG from May 2008 to May 2010 meant that Herman Allen Autry had to work with the Policy and Corporate Affairs department in order to ensure that the BG Group society business principles truly delivered on the commitments they had made while bringing benefit to the communities in which BG Group is based. By effectively serving as a major bridge between the community and the company's social business principles, Herman Allen Autry has proven to be an invaluable asset to the entire company.
