Herman Autry

After obtaining both a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Master's degree in Business Administration, Herman Allen Autry proceeded to obtaining two more degrees. Landing in the Dean's list consistently at the University of Miami while obtaining the first two degrees, Herman Allen Autry continued on the same spirit of excellence by obtaining a Bachelor of Laws honors degree from the University of the West Indies, and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from Hugh Wooding Law School (HWLS). At HWLS, Herman was easily awarded the Outstanding Year 1 and Year 2 Law Student. After earning this impressive number of degrees successfully, Herman Allen Autry was on the way to carving a name in the field. Deciding to join the world's leading steel company, Herman Allen Autry went onboard Mittal-Arcelor as Deputy Manager for Procurement in 1996. Then, Herman climbed further to Administrative Coordinator for the DR3 Project. Herman's next post was as Deputy Manager for Marketing in 1999. Herman decided to take the post of Lead Contracts Engineer at BG International in 2006. Assigned to the UK Corporate headquarters of the BG Group (international oil and gas company), Herman worked with the Global Contracts and Procurement department in the implementation of best practice processes across the business. In 2008, Herman Allen Autry was assigned to the US-based offices of BG Group, BG Americas & Global LNG. Working with the Policy and Corporate Affairs department, Herman assisted in delivering on the commitments to society business principles of the company, thereby bringing benefit to the communities in which BG was based. In 2010, Herman was assigned to the Social Performance (SP) unit of BG Trinidad and Tobago, supporting the delivery of BG T&T's SP commitments related to current and future Engineering and Procurement projects.
