Joining Mittal-Arcelor in 1996, Herman moved upward from being Deputy Manager for Procurement to Administrative Coordinator for the DR3 Project and on to Deputy Manager for Marketing. This upward climb enabled Herman to showcase sheer intelligence and wholehearted dedication to the posts. As the world's largest steel company, Mittal-Arcelor had optimum use of Herman's strong sense of character and organization. As Deputy Manager for Procurement, Herman ably assisted the Procurement Manager with the sourcing, purchasing and delivery of materials specific to the steel industry. As Administrative Coordinator for the DR3 Project, Herman was responsible for supporting the VP-Projects on the construction of the world's largest Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant in the administration of all non-technical matters. As Deputy Manager for Marketing, Herman Allen Autry was responsible for the sales of all company steel products in the Caribbean Market. Coming onboard the BG Group, Herman Allen Autry has held a number of highly-responsible positions: as Lead Contracts Engineer at BG International; as Manager for Corporate Responsibility at BG Americas and Global LNG; and Social Performance Manager for BG Trinidad & Tobago
