Hernan Lopez, a native of Argentina and highly successful entrepreneur, is the Co-Founder of Danvas, an organization that is showcasing digital art through museum-quality LED displays. Danvas empowers digital artists to expand their audiences, and collectors to acquire more one-of-a-kind digital art.
Lopez is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Hernan Lopez Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to dismantling systemic bias and increasing diversity in leadership. Through the foundation, Hernan is bringing his passion for helping aspiring entrepreneurs to life by offering scholarships and career mentorship.
Before co-founding Danvas, Hernan founded Wondery, one of the largest podcast publishers, launched in 2016 and acquired by Amazon in 2021. Under Hernan’s leadership as CEO, Wondery became world-renowned for its hit storytelling podcasts including Joe Exotic, Dr Death, Business Wars, WeCrashed, The Shrink Next Door, and Dirty John. Thirty-one of Wondery’s shows have reached #1 on Apple Podcasts and 19 podcasts have been developed for TV adaptations.
Lopez is a sought-after speaker and has been invited to speak at SXSW, The Festival Of Media, The Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity, Natpe, WSJ Tech Live, The INMA World Congress, and many investor conferences around the world.
His articles about entrepreneurship, advertising, and media have been published by prominent business outlets. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Hernan previously served on the board of GLAAD. He is also a founding member and Governor of The Podcast Academy, and current board member of the Latino Donor Collaborative.
Lopez holds an MBA from the University of Miami. He now calls Los Angeles his home.
