Hernan possesses more than fifteen years of experience in current affairs, policy making and politics.

Over the years, Hernan has collaborated with different local and national news media outlets, including EstrellaTV Network, Noticias 62 En Vivo, Noticias Univision 34, Noticias Univision, Noticiero Telemundo 52, Miami-based MegaTV, Noticias MundoFox and Noticias MundoFox 22 in Los Angeles. In addition, he has appeared multiple times on CNN en Español, CNN Latino, CNN Headline News, and in some of the most prominent public affairs shows in Southern California. From 2007 to 2009, Hernan hosted Time Warner Cable’s “Local Edition”, which aired on the CNN Headline News channel. From 2011 to 2012, Hernan hosted “LA Community” on KNLA TV of Los Angeles. Hernan has also written extensively for different print and online media outlets, including Frontiers Magazine, MyLatinoNews.com and NBCLatino.com. Over the years, and in tandem with his involvement in the media field, Hernan worked in non-profit health services, including the County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services. From 2001 to the present time, Hernan has served as policy analyst and adviser to local government elected officials, developing an extensive network of contacts in the political circles of Los Angeles, Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Hernan is well versed on issues impacting the Latino community in the United States and on a broad range of political matters in Latin America. Hernan was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from where he departed to reside in Mexico City for two years at the age of 22. In 1991, he moved again, this time to Los Angeles, a place he has called home ever since.
