Hello! My name is Elisa Ann Hernandez. I was born in Rio Grande City, Texas; which is located in South Texas along the Mexican border. I have lived in this city for twenty-two years. I was raised as a Seven-Day Adventist for the majority of my life. I graduated from Rio Grande City High School on May 2008 with honors and on the Distinguished Advancement Program. I attended South Texas College where I receieved me Associates in Criminal Justice. I have recently moved to Kenee, Texas to attend Southwestern Adventist University. I am pursuing my Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in School Guidance. I am a Senio and looking foward to graduating. Soon after I will work as an elementary teacher. I am looking foward to that!

At first my major was only in psychology, soon after though I changed major to include both psychology and education. The reason i made the switch is because it involves two factors that interest me the most. Working with children has always interested me, but i gained a greatter interest when my nephew was diagnosed with autism. I knew then that I wanted to be a Diagnostician or School Psychologist. I want to work with children that have learning disabilities, so that I can helpt them grow to their fullest potential.
