Rosemary Swainston

I spent a year with two chalk hand-prints, permanently tattooed on my jeans. A year standing energetically-charged in front of a class of seventy children, who listened for fear I might explode. It was 365 days teaching students English in China, and I loved every minute.

Since then I have got myself a degree. Lived in London working in television for two years. Now I tutor English and Creative writing (as well as other subjects), write poetry, plays and short stories. I teach all over London, though mostly south: Wimbledon, Stockwell, Brixton, Vauxhall, Elephant & Castle, Tulse Hill, Herne Hill.
