Hero Kimanzi is a technology entrepreneur, software developer, cybersecurity professional, youth leader, and innovator from Kenya, passionate about using technology, leadership, and sustainable innovation to solve real-world challenges. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems (GeGIS) at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DeKUT), where he is building expertise in spatial technologies, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making.

Beyond academics, Hero has developed a multidisciplinary career spanning software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and community leadership. His mission is to create technology-driven solutions that generate lasting social, economic, and environmental impact.

Committed to lifelong learning, Hero is a Certified Software Developer through the Power Learn Project (PLP) Software Development Scholarship under the #1MillionDevs4Africa initiative, with training in software development, web technologies, software engineering, software testing, debugging, and blockchain technology. He also completed the Cybersecurity Defense Analyst Pathway through Cisco Networking Academy in partnership with the Equity Group Foundation, gaining practical skills in cyber defense, security operations, threat detection, incident response, and digital risk management.

His expertise is further strengthened by professional training in Generative Artificial Intelligence and Prompt Engineering through Huawei ICT Academy and Coursera, focusing on AI-assisted problem-solving, workflow automation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

Hero previously served as Secretary General of the Equity Leaders Chapter (ELC) at DeKUT and later as Alumni Coordinator, leading communication, strategic planning, mentorship, and member engagement initiatives. He believes leadership is about service, collaboration, and creating opportunities that empower others.

Professionally, Hero has served as a Brand Marketing Specialist at Equity Bank, contributing to brand activation, customer engagement, public relations, and digital marketing while combining creativity with data-driven strategy to enhance organizational visibility.

In entrepreneurship, Hero founded Green Path Biogas in 2025, a sustainability venture focused on technology-driven waste management and renewable energy solutions. He is also the Founder and CEO of Hero Digital Solutions, providing website development, branding, digital transformation, business automation, analytics, and technology consulting services to help organizations grow through innovation.

His commitment to innovation has earned recognition in competitive innovation pitching programs, where he received Gold Medal recognition for presenting impactful, technology-driven solutions with strong social, environmental, and business value.

Hero's technical interests include software engineering, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, geospatial technologies, and digital transformation.
