Heron Mead Farm offers boarding, training, lessons, summer camps, and sales. In addition to our all-weather riding arena and round pen, our 20 acre farm is next to Blue Marsh Lake, in Berks County near Reading, where boarders and students can ride out to more than 35 miles of trails and over 6000 acres of State Game Lands. Owner & Head Trainger/Instructor, Kari Stenberg, has 25+ years of experience competing successfully in dressage and eventing, starting young horses under saddle, retraining ex-racehorses, and teaching students of all ages and abilities. Combining classical European training with Natural Horsemanship and her sharp eye for horse health and soundness, Kari trains effectively yet gently. She specializes in bringing out the best in each horse with their customized daily care and training AND bringing out the best in each rider with intelligent goal-oriented instruction. Summer camps will be starting soon. We offer all-day and half-day camps and focus on riding, horse care and having lots of fun. Camp sizes are limited, so make your reservations today!
