Herrick Lipton believes that every child, adolescent, and adult deserves comprehensive options in behavioral healthcare.

Herrick earned his Master of Business Administration in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Hofstra University on Long Island. Directly afterwards, observing a serious lack of social services programs in his local community, Herrick Lipton joined New Horizon Counseling Center in 1994 as an Administrative Assistant, and he has been active in this company ever since.

Utilizing his strengths in financial and administrative management, Herrick helped build the center up in a time when many other nonprofits unfortunately folded from mismanagement or lack of funding. He has no problem taking on multiple tasks and eventually became Financial Director of the New Horizons Counseling Center. In 2013, Herrick Lipton made a huge switch and became the CEO of NHCC.

In just a few short years since earning this position, Herrick has conceptualized and implemented major initiatives, both inside the center and out. He has overseen NHCC's tremendous growth in New York State. Whether he's working on bringing employment opportunities to patients with developmental disabilities or raising funds for young patients to get scholarships, Herrick Lipton's overarching goal is to provide guidance and support to as many people as possible.

It is Herrick's strong belief that those with developmental disabilities, substance abuse problems, and behavioral issues should be empowered by the community, and the stigma surrounding the people overcoming their obstacles, should be eliminated. One of Herrick's greatest achievements was when he founded the NHCC's Day Habilitation Without Walls for Adults With Developmental Disabilities. This program was put in place to help those with developmental disabilities to get the support they need to be truly active and vital members of the community. At this program, they learn employment skills and receive basic vocational training, which empower them to take charge of their lives.

Herrick Lipton focuses on providing comprehensive care and treatment for patients with complex mental health needs. He also helps them feel comfortable by developing long-term improvements.

Under the direction and leadership of Herrick Lipton, the New Horizons Counseling Center has experienced 300% growth in revenue and become one of the leading non-profits in the New York City area and has received many honors from the state and local government.
