I am an artist. My art is my escape from reality. When I'm painting or drawing I feel at peace and so focused on what I'm working on that the rest of the world seems to disappear. Drawing or painting allows me to create a realistic piece while feeling like I'm in a fantasy. What I paint or draw are things that encounter my life at that time. There is no real expression of emotions put into my work. My work shows a lot of details. I want the people to be able to see every detail I put into each piece. My work is all about the realistic look to it. Being able to appeal to two of the human senses is a success. All of my pieces are to be seen to notice every pencil mark or brush stroke, and they every pencil mark and brush stroke are meant to be touched. Having the ability to feel, as well as see, how a person came to creating a piece I believe is a good way to learn. When I look at another artists piece all I want to do is touch it as much as I am looking at it. It makes me feel like I am in the artists shoes reliving how each stroke of a brush or marking of a pencil came to create something so many people dream to have the capability to do. That capability is to create something of this world by being in a totally different one.
