Herta C. Hieslmair

Herta C. Hieslmair, a Business and Image Consultant certified at the FIT in New York, brings an impressive career background in various senior commercial leadership positions with International hospitality companies where she led diverse teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa - known in the industry to build and develop high performing teams successfully thriving for commercial excellence.

She holds an Executive MBA in Tourism & Hospitality from the HTW Chur, Switzerland and participated in the Senior Management Program at Insead Fontainebleau, France. In addition she is an accredited Personal Branding Expert with Studio Professionals in New York.

Throughout a career of more than 25 years with International hospitality companies, such as Inter-Continental, Starwood (acquired by Marriott), Moevenpick, Ramada and Accor Hotels & Resorts she has been instrumental in implementing sales, marketing and e-commerce strategies on country, regional and divisional level. With her authentic leadership style and believing in a strength based approach, Herta effectively restructured commercial organizations and built ‚best local sales teams‘ introducing selection programs, training and development curriculums and pay for performance schemes.

Convinced that each can contribute according to their individual strengths to the overall achievement, Herta is particularly passionate about women in business and their successful advancement. Her master thesis embraced the ‚Challenge of attracting and retaining female talent’ outlining recommendations to increase the share of female leaders in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Based on her profound management experience combined with authentic business styling advise, she focuses on how to better empower and equip women to achieve their career aspirations by building their personal brand and self confidence in their professional environments. Herta taps into their innate strengths and qualities and is convinced ‚There are no ceilings to success‘.

Born in Austria, Herta was living in the US, France, Czech Republic, Belgium and Switzerland and most recently lives and works out of Vienna, she is fluent in English and German, conversant in French.
