Heshan Nayanajith
Web Developer, Student, and Designer in Sri Lanka
Hello Everyone, I'm Heshan Nayanajith Mallawarachchi. I’m 26 years old guy currently living in Gampaha district.I was kind a person who showed high interest in learning new things since my childhood. It was a pleasure to read books as well to create various artworks during my free time.
My almamater was Bandaranayake College Gampaha where I learnt from grade six in English medium there after chosed maths stream and selected for the bachelor of honours degree program from the Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna. Finishing all of them well and currently doing my internship at IFS.
Addition to my career, I am a graphic designer and also a video editor. My University life laid the foundation in doing those graphic artworks and video editing as I engaged in doing so many digital artworks for the faculty functions. They paved the way and moulded me in developing and improving myself so far and to build the person who I am today.
I am an active volunteer in IEEE at the university level, Sri Lanka section level, as well as IEEE region 10 level. I started as an editor in the IEEE student branch university of Jaffna and happily ended being the vice-chairman of the branch during the period of 2020 - 2021.
In 2020 I volunteered as a designer in IEEE Sri Lanka section WIESymp which was organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering chapter and also worked as a member of the creative content team in IEEE SLSYWC'20.
In 2021 I was a publicity team member of the Sparklers summit organized by IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals and then a team lead at the Public Visibility subcommittee of the Student activities committee of the IEEE Sri Lanka section. Furthermore, now I’m working as an Editorial committee member in the IEEE Sri Lanka section. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I had throughout this journey and hope to do great in the future too.
