Journalist in New York
Alexandra Hess is a journalist passionate about sharing stories of individuals and having an influence in how media shapes the perspective of society. She is currently living out her dreams and working at the network level in New York City.
She moved following her graduation from the University of Southern California, where she majored in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minored in Cinematic Arts. During her college career, Alexandra interned at NBC’s Today, Dateline and KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles. She also spent time with NBC News in London, KXTV and Style Media Group. One of her proudest accomplishments is serving as a producer at Annenberg TV News where she managed a team of dozens working in the newsroom, the field and the studio to produce a live newscast and web content. Before producing at ATVN, she worked as a multimedia journalist, graphics artist, sports volunteer, streambox and CGI operator.
Alexandra is an analytical and critical thinker. Asking the challenging questions and finding the difficult answers is one of her favorite things to do. Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys cooking, traveling, watching USC football, listening to all kinds of music and spending time with family and friends.
