Established in 1989, Hew-Tex Oil and Gas was founded by Peter H. Hewett and carries on his family’s 60-year legacy in the industry. Formerly a Senior Account Executive at Major Oil Company, Mr. Hewett has led his Houston-based company in investing in a select portfolio of oil and gas projects. Over the past 20 years, Hew-Tex Oil and Gas has become a respected industry leader and continues to excel in oil and gas field exploration and production services.
Founded in 1989, the company was incorporated the following year. Prior to establishing Hew-Tex, Mr. Hewett successfully founded J&H Oil Company in 1981 and grew the company as CEO and Chairman, piloting drilling projects in Texas and other states. Today, he continues to build upon those successes, which have contributed to Hew-Tex Oil and Gas being in a position to identify investment opportunities and act as a joint-venture manager for a number of income-producing wells.
