Whimsical!

At a low point in my life I started to think about the meaning of life. A lot of questions and answers came by. A lot of points were made and a lot of feelings passed by. But one particular feeling stuck on very hard. It’s not just a feeling of happiness, but a feeling of satisfaction, a feeling of calmness and peace, a feeling of warmth. Since it’s very difficult to put a word on it, I gave it the closest to what I could think, “Whimsical”. But I’m not sure if you get it, so here are some of those small moments that get me that feeling and YES, its moments like these I cherish the most and this is the part about me, I wanted you to know.

- Kicking off your shoes and dancing
- Licking chocolate of the side of your lip
- Eating cylindrical shaped fries off your finger
- Driving through a canopy of trees
- The feeling of sand slip away from under your feet when on a beach
- Playing with raw rice, putting your hand in the bag and then showering it like rain
- That one look from that person, the look that speaks a thousand words.
- Seeing my dad stand at a distance on a crowded street waiting for me
- Someone unusual once pinged to say, "Hi"
- Looking at your reflection in parallel mirrors
- Listening to “Be my Honeypie” by The Weepies
- Going to the market on a Sunday morning
- Suddenly stumble upon old photographs
- Stone buildings
- An empty chapel
- A long hallway with wood beams on the ceiling
- When every girl in an unknown place is looking at my shoes only coz they are different and awesome ;)
- Thinking about my favorite song and at the same time it coming on the radio/iTunes
- A baby touching and feeling my face
- Rolling up in a quilt and watching a romantic movie
- An advertisement from childhood
- Mid-night ice cream snack
- Travelling through the city in a bus
- Brunch
- To see that puppy who is excited to see me
- The excitement of Sunday night when you know you're gonna meet that special someone the next morning
- Getting up early on a Sunday
- Watching the rain in the afternoon
- Fireflies
- A flower peeping through the side wall crack
- The last morsel on a shared plate
- Baby gripping my finger
- An empty parking spot
- The cold side of the pillow
