Anthony Fiorino

Tony Fiorino is the host of Let Them Play, a weekly radio broadcast focused on coaching and parenting young athletes. The show airs each Sunday at 9 am EST on Cumulus Radio AM 1230 WFAS New York. He is also Director of the Center for Sports Parenting, a non-profit dedicated to educating parents, coaches and officials on the subtleties of the youth sports environment. The CSP also produces a weekly radio show on WFAN in NY entitled “The Sports Edge” hosted by the Chairman of the CSP and renowned sports parenting expert, Rick Wolff. Tony is a frequent featured guest on the show and has appeared on numerous radio and television broadcasts around the country. Tony is the author of Kids in Sports: A Tactical Guide for Parents and Coaches and has spent many years as a Director and Coach in the Basketball, Baseball, Football and Softball programs in Somers, NY. He recently helped to launch a specially-designed travel baseball program to help young kids and parents understand and benefit from participating in a properly-managed youth sports environment. Tony has worked closely with numerous sports camps throughout his career to help identify instructional and motivational techniques geared towards young athletes. In 2010, Tony was recruited by Team New York Baseball to become Head Coach for their Rookie Program. Team New York is consistently counted as one of the highest rated amateur baseball programs in the Country. As a baseball player, Tony achieved NABF Amateur All-American status as a member of the National Champion Bayside Yankees. He also was ranked in the top twenty in the United States in batting average and the top ten in RBI while at Mercy College, where he graduated with honors.
