Hhoky

What to say about Hhoky? (That's me) How personal is acceptable? How vague would do? These are the true questions I struggle with.

I have had a life long love affair with the written word. From the melancholy soul poetry of Edgar Allen Poe to the lyrical wit and majesty of Shakespeare. From the spiritual throttling of Stephen King to the occult courtships of Anne Rice. I have devoured Romance and Science-fiction with equal passionate abandon. I fell for the sing song tongue twisting skills of Dr. Seuss. I lived and breathed the adventures of Dragon Lance and Elf Quest and the heart bending works by Hickman and Weiss. So many words, so little hours in the day. I stopped and sniffed the Flowers in the Attic, I explored the place Where the Side Walk Ends and Where The Red Fern Grows, I went to Hogwarts, I plundered Disk-world, I strolled through time with Dickinson.

After years of reveling in the pleasure of creating my own stories, I have begun taking the first steps at sharing the places in my mind with people outside of my comfort zone. For better or worse, one day, my own words will be out there. Sink or swim, I write because I love it.

In the end, I write for me, so I am destined to be happy.
