Howdy, I’m Hiba Durrani, a psychology and Childhood Studies major at Rutgers University Camden. I'm passionate about mental health, child development, and helping others through empathy and evidence-based care.
My experiences volunteering with HomeFront NJ and SAVE-A-Friend to Homeless Animals taught me how compassion and community support can change lives. I also worked with Panell Learning Center, where I supported caregivers and children in developmental activities deepening my interest in emotional growth and behavioral care.
Currently, I'm building a foundation in Clinical Psychology, with future goals to work in therapeutic and counseling settings where I can make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I believe that empathy, patience, and understanding are as essential to healing as science and training.
