Northampton/Newcastle

Born, raised, and, against all odds, until very recently still residing in the self proclaimed furthest point from any coastline, Northampton Town, I write about music, mostly, and sometimes about growing up broke and weird in the Midlands. Currently working for The Man after a summer of unemployment and a not-so-brief, 2 year long stint working in what was initially supposed to be a stop-gap job after graduating in 2011 with the Holy Grail of pointless degrees, no direction, and debt that could fill a warehouse, I share my time equally between cuddling my dog, Wikipedia-ing everything, watching all the episodes of Law and Order SVU available on Netflix, going for long bicycle rides, avoiding acting my age, making lists in my Filofax and listening to a hell of a lot of music. I prefer my bike to cars and Holsten Pils to almost everything else. I still listen to the bands I loved when I was 15 and will forever herald 'Stay What You Are' as the Perfect Summer Album. Hello. Forever not waving, but drowning.
