High Maintenance Bitch®
High Maintenance Bitch® was started in 2002 by sister and brother, Lori Pacchiano and Ryan Pacchiano, in their grandmother's garage. The pair began by hand-making products for pets and selling them to local retailers. Their creations began receiving a windfall of national publicity and started showing up on the pets of Hollywood's elite as well as being featured in countless TV shows. The brand was approached by Petco® within its first year to sell HMB Products. While the brand has received anunfathomable amount of publicity, including starring in the successful Bravo series 'Showdog Moms and Dads' (which aired in 72 different countries and now airs on Animal Planet in syndication; and was was produced by LA-based production company 'World of Wonder' which is known for creating other such shows as Tori and Dean; Ru Paul's Drag Race; Flipping Out; and The Fabulous Beekman Boys), and having Lori and Ryan's first published book sold in bookstores nationwide, to date the HMB brand has never paid for advertising.
In 2002 HMB's "Pet Feather" was rated as one of the Hot 100 Products by Entertainment Weekly. In 2004 Lori and Ryan were nominated for the Seattle Mayor's Small Business Award and in 2005 Seattle Magazine named them 2 of the of the city's "13 Most Up and Coming Influential People."
In 2012 the siblings patnered with private investors to expand the company's manufacturing and distribution channels.
In 2013, well known television executive Doron Ofir, known as "The Man Behind Jersey Shore", began creating a new reality series project about the High Maintenance Bitch® brand.
In 2014, Lori and Ryan released their two newest products, "Squeaky Clean" Simply Good Dog Wash, and DogBeautyTreats.com
Lori and Ryan are represented by New York's prestigious N.S. Bienstock talent group.
