Young Israeli soprano Hila Fahima is an ensemble member at Wiener Staatsoper, where she has appeared as Gilda in Rigoletto, Princesse Eudoxie in La Juive, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, as Nanetta conducted by Zubin Mehta in Falstaff, Sidonie in Gluck’s Armide conducted by Marc Minkowski,Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, Sophie in Werther, Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Fiakermilli in Arabella, Die Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte and Dalinda in Ariodante, conducted by William Christie.
Other highlights for this season are the role of Giunia in a world premiere of Lucio Silla at Theater Basel, Faure’s Requiem with the L’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, Handel’s Ariodante on tour with Les Arts Florissants and a revival of Rigoletto atthe Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Hila Fahima graduated from the Jerusalem Rubin Academy for Music and Dance, where she studied with Agnes Massini.
