I’m Hilary, a journalist from California.
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Humboldt State University and a master’s in marketing from University College Dublin.
For over a decade, I’ve worked on communications projects with a variety of brands in a range of sectors.
In 2016, I quit my job as a copywriter for an ad agency and started my own freelance writing business.
Over time, I’ve niched down into the health and wellness space. It turns out, I love working with brands that help people help themselves.
My approach to health content is best summed up in three words: clear, compassionate, and credible.
To support my work as a journalist, I have a bachelor’s in journalism, a master’s in marketing, and fitness and nutrition certifications through the Yoga Alliance and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
