Hilary A. Wagenblast

I am ready to make the transition from a classroom teacher to an administrator. For the last sixteen years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish at Highland High School, as well as providing technological guidance and professional development opportunities for my colleagues and administrators. HHS has given me the opportunity to develop my administrative skills. I have routinely been called upon to perform duties as a substitute principal ranging from monitoring attendance to addressing behavioral issues. I continually strive to remain involved with students, parents, colleagues, administrators, and community members, to make the school environment a safe place. I am confident my educational background, people and organizational skills, leadership qualities, experience, dedication, and desire to succeed will provide me the necessary foundation to be an asset to your school district.
