Hilde B. Amundsen

I hold a MSc in Geology and my area of expertise is marine sedimentological processes and environment. My background ranges from Late Weichselian paleoclimate analyses from marine benthic foraminifera through the study of Late Weichselian element-geochemical signatures of sandy turbidites in the Lofoten Basin, Norwegian Sea. My work includes marine vessel based research (surveying and sediment coring) and subsequent analytical work (geochemistry, physical sedimentary properties and dating).

In addition I have experiences on an administrative level both industry and research, and I enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment, in the fusion between applied research, outreach and administration.
