Thank you so much for wanting to learn more about who you’d be voting for Highland Park Vice President! My name is Hillary (Bach) Nelson, and I would love the opportunity to serve our school. Christina and I feel passionately about sending our kids to an amazing elementary school. We want to attend a school with thriving community. A school where teachers and staff feel supported, and our kids have everything they need to make memories that will last a life time.

Growing up as an athlete, I learned many important life lessons, including the value of working as a team. In my last year working in and around the Highland Park PTSO, I have heard many concerns that there are a few people who feel they are carrying the load for many. Christina and I will create a culture where teamwork allows everyone to feel included, valued and excited about participating when and where they can.

Professional Experience:

• Executed championships and events with the PAC-12 Conference, where we served twelve different schools, hundreds of coaches, and thousands of athletes
• Collaborated with school principals and district leadership while selling and hosting culture workshops for the non-profit, Positive Coaching Alliance
• Implemented many new systems, and oversaw the completion of a $10 Million state of the art golf facility, in the Sun Devil Athletics development office where the Sun Devil Club works hand in hand with amazing donors to raise money in support of the ASU Athletic Department
• Currently design dream vacations and celebratory bucket list adventures in the luxury travel space as an advisor with Trips and Ships Luxury Travel

But the work I love most is being a mother to my two boys! We love arts and crafts, watching and playing sports, and spending time outside. Our family would love to serve yours, and I would be very grateful for your vote as the Vice President of the Highland Park PTSO!
