Project Manager, Consultant, and Designer in Dallas, Texas

I have been a Lighting Designer for the last 15 years. I started in sound at Lake Pointe Church in my hometown and evenutally moved into lighting. I was at Lake Pointe Church for 4 years and then I did some other things like lighting for the Christian Wrestling Federation and B&L Sound and Lighting. In 2005, I joined Disney on Ice as a Lighting Electrician. In the spring of 2006, I joined the staff as a Lighting Designer for Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. When I began classes at Full Sail University for Show Production, my family and I moved to Orlando to continue my degree in 2013. In September of 2013, I changed my degreee to Entertainment Business and moved back home to Plano, Texas where I came back on staff with Prestonwood Baptist Church as the Lighting Director of multi-campuses. This is where I am today.

As a kid, I always enjoyed fireworks and I eventually got into shooting some off in my backyard as a teenager in Front Royal, Virginia. When my family moved to Texas, I started creating firework shows and eventually landed my first non-professional show for a guy I worked with at Lake Pointe Church. That evolved into a yearly gig that I have continued for the last 12 years. Now, my wife and my daughter are on my "Pyro Crew" and we do a fireworks show. Someday soon, I'm hoping to have my pyrotechnician license and take the shows to a whole new playing field.
