Victor E. Garcia

Originally from Dominican Republic, living in NY for last five years in Bay Shore. I’m a full-time student at Dowling College and merchandiser lead at Macy’s South Shore; I have become a valuable member of my team through talents in customer service, floor planning, visual merchandising, team leadership and organizational skills, with 4 years of experience in both planning and supporting the selling process by leveraging relationship throughout the store. Also, I am a passionate Communication student, trying to enjoy Journalism School.

My passion in communication, journalism and costumer service has enabled a non-stop work ethic. Colleagues know me as a highly creative merchandiser who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the customer feedback before suggesting ideas. As well as, exploiting my potential in order to contribute to the success of the company while at the same time presenting a challenge that will help develop and grow my career.
