EVOLUTIONARY MAP
• TRADITIONAL TELCO POSTPAID & PREPAID SALES - I began my career in the mobile industry on the operator side of the space, dealing with airtime sales through distributor network and direct sales associates.
• SET-UP, EARLY TELCO VAS: I was chosen to set up Telecom VAS when the industry was still in its infancy and was instrumental in several first-launches. I rapidly graduated to people, product and business management positions in the same space.
• B2C VAS & TRADITIONAL MEDIA: I then moved into New media's Mobile B2C space with the Times of India group, which then owned the largest B2C brand – (5)8888. In this role I worked integrated solutions drawing from internal cross-media partnerships and external new-media partnership.
• MOBILE MARKETING & ADVERTISING: After leading pioneering projects on both sides of the value chain, I then moved into Mobile Marketing & Advertising where I was instrumental in setting up the Hindustan Times-VELTI joint venture HTMSL that connects the larger media space with the mobile industry. Here I dealt with Advertising-Media agencies, Brands, Media groups and SME's outside mobile industry.
• INTEGRATED MOBILE MEDIA: I am presently with Lumata, where I drive New Business, Larger Partnerships, India & International Sales, Technology Product Marketing and Business Development.
