Above all else, I am a child of the One True King. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have three beautiful daughters. We are the leaders of the Unleashed Youth Group at Bethel Church of God in Lake Park, GA and we live to serve God through our services to others. Though I strive to reach as many people as I can, if what God lays on my heart to include in this blog leads only one person to Christ and to a closer relationship with Him, then it has served it's purpose. My prayer is that you are blessed by what God has given me to say and that your life is transformed through His mighty Word.

I titled this blog Him B4 Me to emphasize how important it is to first remember the sacrifice that was made that day when Jesus Christ went to the cross, so that we might be saved. The second reason behind this name is to remind us of the importance of putting Christ before us in everything we do, good and bad, we should seek the guidance His Holy Spirit.

When coming up with this name, I thought of Moses and how God had a calling for his life, a plan, a job for him to do. But Moses got scared like many of us do, like I did when first called, and He immediately questioned God's decision in him. He said in Exodus 3:11, "Who am I that I should go....and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?" So many times, we feel inadequate to do the things that God has called us to do. That's the reason I ran from His calling for so many years. I didn't feel like I was the one for the job. I didn't feel qualified. One thing I had to learn was that God doesn't call the qualified, for we are all unqualified to serve Him, but He qualifies the called, if the follow Him. I love God's response to Moses as it is what keeps pushing me to do more for Him. God said in the very next verse, "I will certainly be with you." WOW!! What an awesome feeling to know that God is with us. He will never send us in alone, as long as we get out of our own way and let Him go B4 us.
