I am a Second year undergraduate student pursuing a Masters'​ degree in Exploration Geophysics from the Dept. of Geology and Geophysics, IIT Kharagpur. With a passion for science from a tender age, I am a dedicated learner and strive to educate myself in the enthralling field of Earth SciencesI am a Hard Working,Confident,Optimistic,Vigilant,Academically Rigorous and intellectually tough person. The Things that energize me are Yoga, Meditation, Studying Seismic Geophysics, Physics Books, and Reading Literature.Throughout my schooling and college tenure I have always maintained a balanced outlook and performed well consistently both in academics and extra-academics. I have a variety of hobbies and interests like Blogging,Making new friends,Reading Tech articles and social news,Trekking, Watering Plants ,Dancing,Passionate Travelling and a variety of sports including badminton, Table Tennis.I am Enrolled in 3(B) Tech AIR Sqn. NCC and I have learnt importance of Unity and Discipline, Punctuality and patriotism, team work and many more social causes we must care.I being a science and research oriented person has always been indulged in Science Competitions, Presentations, Science Camps, and Conferences which include “Prithvi - Annual Fest of Dept. of Geology and Geophysics” , National Children Science Congress , National Science Seminar and many more.My Greatest Achievement is receiving National Child for Exceptional Achievement in the field of Science 2010 by the Hon'ble president of India Smt.Pratibha Patil in “Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi”. Through these activities I gained a valuable opportunity to give back to society and contribute to nation-building, while also developing my personality and skills.I currently aspire to work at a research position in the oil & gas exploration industry, and thus seek to obtain experience and develop requisite skills towards becoming an able contributor to the crucial energy sector.
