“Every end has always a new beginning”. That’s when I realized that I need to stop Djing before in order to focus on what’s more outside the box. I used to DJ at festivals and clubs like URBN QC, Chaos City of Dreams (where Marshmello and many international DJs performed) Syzygy Music Festival that took place at MOA Concert Grounds alongside with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and more wayback 2016 and now, I have found the right thing to do to serve my younger self’s dream. After I had my last DJ gig last March 2020, I decided to stop DJing.

And here we are now currently known as Himig Borhuh, a Rap Artist/Music Producer/Brand from Novaliches QC. I'm also the Midi Man of the band “Purples n' Oranges” which got many recognitions and praises from our release like “MOAO” which got more than 3 million total of streams and counting. I'm also part of "TMP MDN" an ecosystem of creatives founded by Dougbrock and I signed to them as an independent artist.

Since I was studying at University of Santo Tomas as a Conservatory of Music student, it became a strength and opportunity to explore things that will help me find the sweet spot that I need when it comes to music making.

It became a good blend because I got some recognitions and praises with my previous works like “Prinsesa by Pop Girls” which got an Awit Award Nomination as The Best Dance Recording last 2017. Executive Produced the album “PAS16 by Tryx” which caters a story about a youngblood from Pasig City that is reviving the lyricism in a much modern attack that features artists like Because, Yuridope, YB Neet, Lipip and many more. I also got a beat producing project for Myx’s segment “Myx Moves 2017”.

With all these production credentials, I also garnered some achievements with the music that I’m currently making like “Miss Monaco” which I consider as one of my most loved sound that gained for a total of 365k++ streams on all streaming platforms. “Tanawin”, a song that I produced, written and sang alongside with my childhood friends (Metroboyz) that entered “Kalye Rap” the biggest OPM Rap Spotify Playlist that is going 300k streams.
