Running, Running, Running
Running is my go-to activity. If I need to exercise, I go for a run. If I need some alone time to decompress, I go for a run. If I need to escape some chores at home, I go for a run.
I enjoy all aspects of running, especially the running community. The community is so inclusive and makes everybody feel at home. As a matter of fact, I encourage everyone to run because how much I love it!
I am predisposed to having a love for running since my mom, dad, and grandpa share the love of running. Running has been a part of my life since birth, and it is a major component of my personal identity. Also, I am from Marietta, Georgia which has tons of national park property which have an excess of trails that are amazing to go for a jog on.
I have run a 5k, 10k, and a half marathon. My longest run is 15 miles but I am planning on running a marathon in the next few years so I am slowly trying to train for that.
My picture is from my last race in high school at the cross country state championship. Cross country is another reason I love running so much because I got to run everyday afterschool with all of my closest friends.
Sadly, I was not able to continue running in college at Georgia, but I still enjoy running almost daily recreationally!
