Heather Jones

Teaching at Clark High School and Northwest Vista College for the past ten years has taught me so much. While I am the teacher, often I feel that I am the one who is learning...learning about my students lives, new technology, new music and best of all about placing in the world I have yet to visit.

Learning about new cultures has really given me a unique perspective and an optimistic outlook on life. My hope is that I pass on this positive quest for knowledge and tolerance to my students. Ideally, it will have a pay-it-forward quality and eventually everyone in the whole world will start treating each other with respect.
