Heather Kennedy

Hello!

I am currently a student at Olivet Nazarene University studying science education with a biology concentration. I am a 2011 Golden Apple Scholar of Illinois. I am from a small town in Illinois and enjoy spending time outdoors. In my free time I hike, play guitar, read, and box. I have no siblings but enjoy spending time with my parents and grandparents when I can.

I will listen to just about any music except for screamo and country. My favorite music is folk, worship and singer/songwriter music. I play in a worship band and absolutely love the violin and cello. I do not watch much TV, but Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy are my favorite shows. I went to Tanzania Africa when I was in high school and as a result Africa has a big place in my heart. I hope to go back there one day and teach science or english. However, I would like to travel around the world to other places as well. I hope to join the Peace Corps at some point in my life and teach in other countries in the world during summer vacations.
