Heather (Heke) Kennon

I am currently a Reading Specialist working in a middle school Literacy Lab in Bennington, Vermont. I spent the last three years teaching English Language Learners in middle and elementary schools in Bennington. Prior to that, I taught English as a Foreign Language in Japan to grades K-9. I graduated from Bennington College in 2008 with a focus in Philosophy and Japanese. I will receive my Master's of the Science of Education in the area of Language and Literacy from Simmons College in May 2014. I love words, my cat, teaching, and Saturday mornings.
