Heather K. Hart

I always wanted to be a teacher and now that I am, I'm finding myself learning more than I did at any point in my past. Growing up, it was my goal to be an English teacher or an actress. I chose teaching but took a bit of a meandering path to meet that goal. I am currently teach Physics and Junior Science and have recently taken on English 8, much to my excitement and my students' confusion. They are slowly coming to the realization that passion is not compartmentalized by course titles and bell schedules.

This year, I am working with a team of teachers to learn alongside our students in an inquiry environment. While we haven't quite hit our stride, the path to inquiry is a learning journey for all of us-teachers and students alike!
