I am a devoted animal enthusiast, teacher, and trainer. I specialize in canines..but do not be surprised to see me on a set wrangling snakes and scorpions.. or teaching a class discussing the importance of "blending" cats with dogs in a multi-pet household. I am very passionate about my work with canines in many areas including teaching puppy kindergarten, basic obedience, private in-home training, agility training, AKC-Canine Good Citizen Training, and working with canines as a dog wrangler in films, television, commercials, and other forms of media. What makes me unique from other professional dog trainers is my educational and professional background and experience as a seasoned and ripened psychotherapist. I have years of experience as a professional social worker with special interests in working with children and adolescents, older adults, and individuals with physical and emotional challenges. I also have a strong passion for working with a veteran population and have worked at several Veteran Administrations specializing in PTSD and trauma. I have been fortunate to continue my educational interests and apply them to working with individuals, couples, and families and their pets. I am a certified, "Animal Behavior College" mentor trainer and feel very blessed to be able to participate in helping to mold and shape aspiring animal trainers of the future. I love all animals, but have a special gift in communicating with canines in particular. I have a very unique relationship with exotic breeds of canines. Many folks refer to me as an animal whisperer. When I am not working with animals and their people... I enjoy photography, sports, music, and have a very strong passion for volunteering with children and canines. I have been working on a book for quite some time. We shall see what 2014 brings... Almost there! NO GAME INVITES - PLEASE! life is to be lived & I have no time and/or interest for any kind of games!
