I am a recent University of Oregon graduate with a passion for fostering transparent and innovative communication.

After taking a brief hiatus from my home to attend one of the top schools of journalism and communication in the nation, I returned to my Bay Area roots and am currently interning for Voce Communications and loving every minute of it.

If I had to name the most valuable skill I've attained so far in my studies and professional work, it's this: retain as much information as possible. I constantly have to remind myself to be a sponge, to soak up every important detail. In an industry that is as constantly evolving as public relations, the ability to absorb information as it happens is a must. It's by this philosophy that I guide my career to my ultimate professional goal: agency PR.

The purpose of this blog is to explore the industry from both a personal and broad perspective, all the while taking away the most valuable lessons I can and reflecting upon them. I also will explore my evolution as an aspiring PR pro and share my experiences.
