I am currently the proud principal at Parkway Elementary School in the St. Joseph School District in St. Joseph, Missouri. At Parkway, we educate 450 students, in grades K-6, for success. St. Joseph is about 35 miles north of Kansas City, Missouri - which is where I reside.
I have been in education for 19 years; first as a teacher in both elementary and middle school, next as an elementary assistant principal, and now currently as an elementary principal. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Western State University and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Administration from Northwest Missouri State University. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Baker University.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 24 years, I have three wonderful daughters, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to read, write, run, watch sports, and travel.
"Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation."
~John F. Kennedy
