I am a cognitive neuroscientist and a lecturer in psychology at the Unviersity of East Anglia. I use brain imaging and stimulation methodologies such as fMRI and TMS to investigate the neural basis of episodic and autobiographical memory, both in normal function and in the context of ageing and pathology. I also have a strong interest in dissociating the functions of the subfields of the hippocampus, and of how their connectivity with each other and other key brain regions influence episodic memory.
