Heyy! I am a freshman at OSU studying Fashion and Retail.

5 words that describe me:

Achiever, Relator, Responsibility, Discipline and Competition

These five are pretty accurate because I work hard and focus on getting things done. I'm usually a pretty organized person and accept responsibility when doing things. I don't like to lose and will push myself to be better.

One activity we did this semester was saying five lessons that we learned. Looking back I may not have enjoyed this semester, but I grew as a person and learned things about myself I didn't know. My five were:

1. Ask more questions about college.

- meaning I wish I had looked at other schools more vigorously and explored myself a little more so I knew what I wanted

2. Don't neglect your loved ones.

- yeah you moved away, but the people who have always been there for you are still there so don't forget about them

3. Don't take a 3 hour class

- I think it explains itself

4. Don't get worked up over bad grades, missed assignment or missing a class

-no need to stress yourself out over something you can't change, move on and do better the next time

5. Make sure to use all your swipes

- don't waste money that you have already paid for, their are plenty of ways to spend it

Another activity we did in class were BBC reflections and in these we reflect on ourselves, but in way that relates to Will Allen's experience. I think I have learned more about myself by just stopping and actually thinking about everything.

My response to a question about pursuing my goals was:

I think that their will be obstacles and challenges during college that may make me want to change where I am currently at or what I am currently doing, but that doesn’t mean I am changing my goals; it could just be changing the way I get to my goals.

People who are trying to hold me back would have no place in my life; I think it is important to surround yourself with people who believe in you and support you and who only want the best for you, so if there are people who aren’t doing that than I would sacrifice those relationships. I wouldn’t sacrifice my happiness though; if I am not happy with what I am doing then something would need to change.
