H. Marc Conniff is a Southern California based writer that specializes in poetry, prose and essays. He started his writing journey as a journalist, but left that world to pursue more personal writings. Marc’s artistic influences are wide and diverse, ranging from ‘80s hardcore punk bands like Black Flag and Minor Threat, authors like Charles Bukowski and Harlan Ellison, comedians like Marc Maron and Louis C.K, filmmakers like Woody Allen and Wong Kar-Wai, and TV writers such as Michael Schur and Vince Gilligan.
He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. When not writing, Marc enjoys going to the movies, checking out live artistic expression, playing video games, going on drives, and lastly dancing the night away.
