H. M. Nazmul Alam is a Faculty Member in the Department of English and Modern Languages at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Literature from the Department of English, University of Dhaka.
Nazmul Alam began his professional career in 2020 as an Assistant Editor at The Daily Ittefaq. In 2022, he transitioned to academia by joining IUBAT, where he currently teaches a range of courses, including literature and proficiency subjects. His teaching portfolio encompasses courses such as Introduction to Poetry, Business Communication, Editing, Basic English Composition, English Comprehension and Speaking, Advanced English Composition, English Language Proficiency, and Public Speaking. In addition to his academic pursuits, Nazmul Alam serves as the Editor of the IUBAT Newsletter, further contributing to the university's academic community.
Beyond his teaching responsibilities, Nazmul Alam is actively involved in writing, contributing as a columnist and political analyst. His writing blends literature, politics, and philosophy to offer thought-provoking commentary on contemporary issues.
