An Eastern Washington University graduate with degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies emphasing in Communications, Social Work, and Counseling Educational Developmental Psychology, Children's Studies Program Development, and Children's Studies Research, along with a minor in Sociology.
I currently work as an assistant high school debate coach and as a skills coach in a residential treatment facility for teenagers who are battling drug and alcohol addictions. As a skills coach my responsibilities include teaching and coaching life and DBT skills and facilitating groups.
When I'm not working with at risk youth, I am baking. I bake professionally in small bakery. I specialize in breads and desserts.
Over the summer, I volunteered at a summer camp at a local elementary school where we worked on developing an adventure playground. i have also spent time volunteering in a soup kitchen and mentoring youth.
