Hobart Assembly
organization in Hobart, Indiana
Since 1938, Hobart Assembly of Hobart, Indiana, has helped members of the community live in relationship with Jesus Christ. The congregation moved to its Ridge Road location in 1976 and 30 years later welcomed its current pastoral team, Ryan and Rebecca McDowell. Under their leadership, the Indiana church has grown fourfold and welcomes its members to two Sunday services.
Hobart Assembly operates as part of the Assemblies of God fellowship of churches. As such, the congregation believes in the scriptures as the revelations of God's will for His children. The church believes in the one true God as embodied by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ being the everlasting Son of God, who offers salvation to those who believe and repent.
The congregation celebrates these beliefs at 9 am and 11 am every Sunday. Wednesdays from August to June, the church opens at 7 pm for its Family Discipleship. Special interest groups, including the Rooted Youth Ministry and a variety of Connect Groups, also meet at scheduled times throughout the week.
