Jonathan Hockaday

I’m an Industrial Design student at the Columbus College of Art & Design. I have been leading our push into VR and AR. I lead our first project dealing with it which culminated at a display for the Ready Player One opening in Columbus. While I look to the future, I do not forget the past. My family has a background in railroading. Growing up I rain large scale model locomotives, and worked on full scale steam engines at the White Mountain Central Railroad. This interest in past technologies has influenced my outlook. Just because something is old, doesn’t mean it’s bad.
