Hody Hong
Hody Hong grew up in China and has spent the past 10 years of his life living in Auckland and Melbourne. Having completed his Bachelor degree of multimedia and digital arts at Monash University, Hody decided to further explore his interest in privacy issues in social media and mobile technology by pursuing a Master of Arts degree researching into the relevant issues at RMIT. His master research paper was published in 2010.
Hody worked at Portable, a digital agency, for two and half years as a digital producer before deciding to open his own design consultancy. Specialising in digital design, he provides advice in respect of digital strategies and productions across different platforms including online, offline, mobile and desktop. He has co-founded Positive Posters in 2009, an international online posters design competition with the aim to spread positive messages around the world.
He is also an active member in the arts community. Before joining the Board at Footscray Community Arts Centre he volunteered at Project Space and School of Art Gallery of RMIT.
