Derek Hoegsted-

I was born and raised in Naples, FL. I have lived here my entire life. I am a fan of cominc, Star Wars and the like. I am not a reader, I have the best of intentions but I have come to know better. I will however watch anything so if you have any suggestions of something that you enjoy or thing I will enjoy please by all means pass it along.

Monica Hoegsted-

My journey is not so simple. I was born and raised in Wichita, KS went to college in Williamsburg, KY at Cumberland College, now known as University of the Cumberlands (Go Patriots!). Lived in Naples, FL for a little bit then did stints in Minneapolis, MN and Knoxville, TN and have come back to Naples, FL. Derek and I met at church but did not become friends until a trip to Baja Mexico and a year later we were married! I have been a medical receptionist, an urban missionary, worked retails, been a barista and most recently a special education teacher for profoundly mentally handicapped students. I am currently a substitute teacher and also a consultant for thirty-one gifts. I love the flexibility these jobs offer. I love to read and would say that Good in Bed by Jennifer Wiener is my favorite book along with the Harry Potter series of books. I havee been starting to come into my role as wife and hopefully one day mom and am using this as a way to document the journey of our life together.

Whitley-

When people hear that I am a Puli the first question is usually, "So he's a poodle and a what?" I am no mix just a Puli. I am white, the majority of my breed is black or an apricot color. I am very smart and playful. I do have the beginnings of a wonderfully chorded or dreadlocked coat that my family takes care of and am in the process of learning how to wave. I just turned 1 in August!
