I have eighteen years of work experience in IT, including support, system management, front- and back-end software development, and cloud architecture. I keep a close eye on developments in the field of IT and use this knowledge and experience to develop and improve products, systems, and processes.

**Long version**

Born in 1981 and grew up with technology. At a young age, I taught myself how to work with computers, fix software and hardware problems. In primary school, I knew I wanted a job in IT. The secondary school did not have any IT related subjects, but in 1999 I was able to get a weekend job fixing computers. Besides school and a weekend job, I taught myself how to build websites and, run Windows and Linux servers.

When I left school, I started working full-time at UPC support desk to solve technical issues for customers and install and configure internet access as an installation engineer. In 2004 I started my own company to help individuals and small businesses with their IT needs. After this two-year adventure, I started working as a system engineer at KLM, Gasunie, and Campina.

In 2007, I started working at Ehio as a software developer. In the 8 years at Ehio (now Calabi), I created community websites, e-commerce websites, and content management systems. With all this combined knowledge I joined Big Dash in 2015 as CTO. Where I'm responsible for the technology, software architecture and keeping the systems secure and running.
